Training, talent & dance media

USDD Kids and Youth Theatre

Children’s classes build foundations, musicality, coordination and confidence through games, routines and freestyle. Youth Theatre for ages 12–18 develops movement and storytelling towards performance. Fast Track offers a further training route. Academy 18–25 and adult training

The 18–25 Academy supports dancers developing their practice over a longer programme. Adult freestyle and battle training is a separate route for people aged 18 and over. Choose the programme around your experience, goals and commitment, then confirm a place before attending.

Private dance coaching

Individual coaching focuses on your own goals, such as foundations, musicality, freestyle, choreography or performance preparation. Share your experience, preferred location and what you want to improve. We will discuss the approach, session format, availability and price before booking. Enquire about private coaching.

Dancers, choreographers and instructors

USDD Talent Agency connects project briefs with freelance dance talent. Enquire about performers for an event, a choreographer for stage or screen, or an instructor for a workshop or programme. Include dates, location, budget, style and any rehearsal, music or filming requirements. Availability and fees are agreed for each booking.

USDD TV and creative content

Our media work includes dancer interviews, podcasts, performance content and conversations about culture and creative practice. Contact us with a guest suggestion, story or collaboration brief. Tell us where the content will appear and what support you are looking for.

Courses and coaching development

Explore dance development and coach training pathways, with different entry points for beginners and experienced dancers. Ask about course content, delivery, mentoring and current availability. Online learning resources are being developed; check what is released before purchasing.

Camps, socials and festivals

Camps and residential experiences bring training and shared activities together. Festivals can include workshops, battles and performances. Check the events programme for current editions, age requirements, venues and tickets.

USDD Social — brunches, daytime socials & parties

Music, movement and culture bring people together. USDD Social is developing multicultural brunches, daytime socials and dance parties rooted in Black music and street-dance culture. Expect shared energy, expressive style and new connections, with each edition’s music and programme announced separately.

Send your audience or age group, approximate numbers, location, preferred dates, budget, access requirements and intended outcome. We will discuss the scope and provide the relevant quote. A project is confirmed once the agreed booking arrangements are complete.

Questions about our street dance services

What happens in a street dance workshop?

A workshop can move from a warm-up and movement foundations into rhythm exercises, a short routine, freestyle and a group sharing or cypher. A cypher is a circle where dancers take turns to express themselves. The session plan is shaped around the participants’ age, experience, available space and goals. For schools, discuss whether the priority is cultural learning, creative expression, teamwork or preparation for a performance.

What is the difference between choreography and freestyle?

Choreography is a planned sequence of movements. Freestyle is movement created in the moment in response to music. Both can develop musicality, coordination and personal expression. A theatre or stage brief may need rehearsed choreography and movement direction, while a battle or cypher focuses on individual responses to the music.

Where can USDD deliver workshops and creative projects?

USDD Networks welcomes project enquiries across London and Kent, including Southwark and Elephant & Castle, Westminster, Medway and the wider area. Delivery depends on artist availability, travel, venue suitability and the agreed brief. A service area is not confirmation of a weekly class: use USDD Academy’s current timetable to find a training programme.

How do I get a quote for a dance workshop or performance?

Use the Work With Us enquiry form and include the service, date, venue, participant numbers or audience, budget and intended outcome. For a workshop, include age groups and access needs. For performance or choreography, include the length of the work, number of dancers, rehearsal time, music and technical setup. For filming, describe the platforms and intended use of the footage. We will discuss a scope and fee before the booking is confirmed.

Youth dance development

Youth development combines street dance foundations, freestyle, choreography and performance practice. USDD Youth Theatre supports ages 12–18, while the 18–25 Academy offers a further training pathway. Dancers can build confidence, teamwork and stage experience through creative projects. Street dance battles

USDD Battle brings dancers together through freestyle competition, cyphers and shared dance culture. Formats include 1 vs 1 all styles to hip-hop and 2 vs 2 all styles across different music types. Under-21 and other festival battles have their own entry conditions. Check each event for eligibility, format, confirmed venue, dates and tickets.

Choreography & creative consultancy

Choreography and creative consultancy for artists, brands, schools, venues and event organisers. Bring us your brief for a performance, stage project, film or cultural event. We can discuss movement direction, dancer selection, creative development and programming. The scope, rehearsal time, technical needs and quote are agreed around your audience, budget and delivery date.

Theatre & performance

Street dance theatre and performance projects use movement, music and storytelling to connect with audiences.
