Commission dance teaching for a London institution
Start with your institution’s learning purpose: cultural exploration, a creative enrichment day, choreography development or a longer teaching programme. Provide the year groups, previous dance experience and whether each session is a different class or a continuing cohort. A sixth-form or university commission may require a different level of technique and professional context from a primary workshop.
For London schools, colleges, private and boarding schools, nominate the staff member responsible for the group. Share room dimensions, floor suitability, lesson length and whether a sound system is available. Describe access and support requirements in a way that helps planning without sending unnecessary sensitive pupil information.
Discuss your institution’s supplier onboarding, safeguarding documentation, insurance and supervision expectations before confirming delivery. State whether a showcase, recorded outcome or assessment is part of the brief. Networks handles commissioned teaching; individual students looking to enrol in USDD’s own classes should follow USDD Academy.
Explore delivery areas: Southwark, Westminster, Lambeth, Lewisham and Sutton. Other London boroughs can be included in your enquiry.

Street dance is central to USDD’s creative practice. Requests can include hip-hop, breaking, popping, locking, house, Afro dance, dancehall, Kizomba, salsa, kompa, bachata or another tradition. Suitability and practitioner availability are checked against the particular brief; no person or style is promised before confirmation.
Organisations commission teachers, workshops, choreography and performers through Networks. Individuals seeking regular classes, private dance tuition or first-dance lessons should use USDD Academy.
A tailored quote with clear responsibilities
Fees reflect creative development, practitioner numbers, preparation, rehearsals and delivery. Travel and accommodation where required are quoted in addition to delivery fees. Recording, promotional use, technical support and any further production responsibilities are agreed separately.
Institutions should explain procurement, supplier documentation, safeguarding and supervision requirements early. Provisional dates or funding should be identified clearly. A proposal does not reserve artists or confirm a booking.
