From a London creative brief to a production plan
A bespoke show starts with the audience experience you want to create. Share the theme, story, music and intended platform. A TV segment needs a camera-led structure; a corporate show must fit the running order; a theatre piece needs space for narrative and rehearsal development.
Identify which roles are already appointed: producer, director, choreographer, cast, composer, stage manager and technical team. Networks can discuss creative responsibilities and suitable collaborators within an agreed scope. Do not assume a dance commission includes venue hire, all technical equipment or the entire event’s management.
Plan development in stages: an initial concept, movement research, a rehearsal draft, technical integration and the performance or shoot. Agree who signs off each stage, what feedback is included and how additional revisions are handled. You can explore the USDD production approach and freestyle storytelling through Urban Dance Chronicles before sharing your own brief.
Explore delivery areas: Southwark, Westminster, Lambeth, Lewisham and Sutton. Other London boroughs can be included in your enquiry.

Street dance is central to USDD’s creative practice. Requests can include hip-hop, breaking, popping, locking, house, Afro dance, dancehall, Kizomba, salsa, kompa, bachata or another tradition. Suitability and practitioner availability are checked against the particular brief; no person or style is promised before confirmation.
Organisations commission teachers, workshops, choreography and performers through Networks. Individuals seeking regular classes, private dance tuition or first-dance lessons should use USDD Academy.
A tailored quote with clear responsibilities
Fees reflect creative development, practitioner numbers, preparation, rehearsals and delivery. Travel and accommodation where required are quoted in addition to delivery fees. Recording, promotional use, technical support and any further production responsibilities are agreed separately.
Institutions should explain procurement, supplier documentation, safeguarding and supervision requirements early. Provisional dates or funding should be identified clearly. A proposal does not reserve artists or confirm a booking.
